How I love hearing Gay Languages. Not just because they're funny but because you'll be amazed on how their imagination run that wild and fast. No wonder why Vice Ganda became a hit, right? I have a couple of gay friends. I love hanging out and having a talk with them. They're dependable and knows just how to make you smile. They also know how to talk serious or be a man (even if it's hard) when the situation needs to. I love my gay friends to pieces. Here are some gay lingo's I've learned from them and their respective meanings.
1. Hagardo Versoza - It simply means "haggard" or you look really tired.
2. Antokyo, Japan - That's how they say "I'm sleepy" in their language.
3. Reaction Paper - It refers to your reaction when they say something amusing or funny.
4. Julie Yap-Daza - It means "to get caught"
5. Gelli De Belen - It means "You're jealous"
6. Carmi Martin - It means "Karma"
7. Tom Jones - It means "I'm hungry"
8. Crayola - Crying
9. Janno Gibbs - To Give
10. Kuya Germs - Dirty
11. Enoturage - Come in.
12. Antibiotic - Antipatika
13. Wrangler - Gurang
14. Reyna Elena - Raining
15. Bitter Ocampo - Being bitter about something
16. Negastar - refers to a negative person

If you think about it, gay lingo is nothing but a hilarious play of words. They just add something to the Filipino root word like “Gu”-Tom Jones to mean hungry. Others are just twisted to fit a new meaning like Chaka Khan to mean ugly. Most are just spur of the moment word inventions they decided could be good enough to fill a gap in conversation like chuva and chenes or maybe to define an indescribable event or happening such as ek-ek.
But if you REALLY think about it, it takes intelligence, wit, creativity and a vast knowledge of important and trivial things alike to be able to come up with such terms. Do you know who Menchu Menchaca is? Or Carmen Patena? Do you know where Dakota Harrison is? It takes talent I may say to coin new words that will not only make you laugh but think very hard. Words that are fresh and original. Thought of not in days but in a heartbeat.

Nokia X5
I'm known to have a big heart for gadgets. And after getting my long-time crush cellphone [Nokia C3].. This has to come out....
My Forever Love :)
They are the mirrors to my soul. They’ve been there in my most victorious to my most embarassing moment. They were “badshot” to my parents for a few times when we were younger because of the mess I got myself into but they never stopped being friends to me. They brought me home when I'm dead drunk and fought with me when I was being stubborn. I’ve heard the most painful truthful words from them but with always the best of intention. We fought about love, family, differences and other friends but they’re still the same people who shows up outside my house with a bottle of local drink in their hand when some jerk breaks my heart.
12 years of friendship down, FOREVER to go.
I love you so so much!! :)
I love you so so much!! :)
Of Cigarettes and Cosmopolitan
I miss smoking. Hehe! For those who are with me often, they know how much of a heavy smoker I am. Until... I got pregnant. Well, i haven't puffed for 5 months now -- what an achievement right? To go back or not to smoking after I give birth is a big question for me. I'm half-hearted! :)
To add to that, I miss my cosmopolitan too. It's my favorite drink of all time.
I'll see you in well, hmm, 6 months? :D *sigh*

This is for the girls who have the tendency to stay up all night listening to music that reminds them of their current situation.
Who hide their fears, hurt, pain and tears under their smiles and laughs all on a daily basis. The girls who wear their hearts on their sleeve.
The girls who pray things will workout just once and they'll be satisfied.
The girls who scream and cry into their pillows because the rest of the world fails to listen. The girls who have it hard but don't let anyone know that. The girls who may never have it easy. The girls who have so many secrets but will never tell a soul.
The girls who have regrets and mistakes as a daily moral. The girls who don't always win, who may never win.
The girls who stay up all night thinking about that one boy wondering if he'll ever notice her. The girls who get what they get and don't throw a fit.
The girls who take life as it comes, hoping it'll get easier somewhere down the road.
The girls who love with all their hearts but always get broken. This is for the real girls. This is for you.

Gone too soon. :(
Sometimes, life surprises you with things you might not be able to handle but have to face. One of which is the death of a friend. A friend, whom you met in the middle of your whirlwind life. He was the one who made you laugh when you’re feeling crappy and someone who will undyingly listen to your nonsense whining. Someone who's on your speed dial when you need a quick fix of alcohol and a bunch of good advice. For me, Ago was one. He’s someone so easy to mingle with because he’s simple, down to earth and willing to listen. He will amuse you with his stories, achievements and goals in life in his young age. He never fails to put a smile whenever you talk to him because he knows what tickles your fancy. It was him who keeps encouraging me to take my masterals (which I never had the time to do. :(. ) He was the supportive, instantly there, 24/7 friend. He will take time after a long day’s work to see you and have a few laughs and drinks.
I may not have known him long enough to tell you lots of stories about him. I am not his long time friend that I can retell his life stories, struggles and victories. But I am one of his friends who saw how he was as a person. How he lived the life he had. We were able to share ample time together that I knew how good his heart was and how wild his imagination is.
I grieve for the loss of a good friend. I will miss how I always see “pepenglamok” in my yahoo messenger everyday and from time to time get a good chat with him at the end of the day. I will miss all the redhorse, gin, vodka and mixed drinks shared together. I will miss how he always munch on all of the chips after every drinking session. I will miss those wednesday nights til thursday mornings bonding we used to share. Those “in between” card games laugh trip session. Those heart to heart talks once the alcohol kicks in. I will miss your "nakakalokong tawa". I will miss how you always pick on me when my stories makes you laugh. Remember, "ONSE"? I will miss you Ago. It wasn’t about how long I’ve known you. It was how we were able to spend an incomparable friendship on that short span of time I’ve known you. I will miss you. Miguel Agoncillo, you’re life was well-lived. Your memories will live in the hearts of those you left behind.
Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends. - Richard Bach
Memories last forever, never do they die, Friends stick together and never really say Goodbye - Ralph Waldo Emerson
