Bartending is ♥ Love ♥

I love bartending. I love my weekend night job more than my day job. Hehehe. I always thought I do it well until I met the bartender's at Juice Bar. I cannot fathom how they can have enough energy to bar tend and be as hyper as they are. They dance to the music while simultaneously mixing drinks for their guests. They're all hype up, they talk, laugh, giggle and take a shot with the customers and note that they maintain that level of energy until the bar is closed. This is how I would like bartenders to be. This is how I'd like myself to be. Then it dawned on me, that maybe, I still need more experience to learn :)

And I experienced so far the biggest challenge a bartender could give me. A flaming tower shot. (c'mon! we don't even do flaming shots for god's sake!) An Php 800.oo drink given to me for free as long as I take the challenge. I did and I died. Hahaha! Now I know how it feels. Maybe I'll be nicer. Hahaha :D

My attempt to be a cheerful bartender.

The Island that never sleeps. :)

I've been to Boracay countless times. Well for one, one of the family's business is there. 2nd, as Ina would say it, IT NEVER DISAPPOINTS.

I never had any bad experience visiting the island. It never fails to surprise me every time. No doubt tourists always enjoy their stay.

My Spontaneous September trip there was sooo fun that we can still feel Boracay even when we got back to Manila. 2 nights was sooo fun that we wouldn't want it to end.

Experiences, spur-of-the-moment thoughts, funny encounter, laughing our hearts out and new found friends squeezed in our short weekend stay. Nothing compares to the company of good friends and a spectacular island that can make the hangover feels so good until it lasts.

And if you girls happens to read this, I MISS YOU ALL.

A simple trip to the beach can be all it takes to clear our heads and open our minds, and write a new ending to an old story. ♥

It Just Didn't Fall the Right Way

Who exactly is the one that got away? Is he your high school crush that you haven’t seen for the longest time? Is he your close friend that you haven’t had the chance to tell him how you feel? Or is he that guy you’ve been smiling at the club, feeling you have that connection until you lost him in that thick crowd?. Nope. I guess it’s that person with whom everything was great, everything was perfect, but the timing was just wrong. There was no fault in the person, there was no flaw in the chemistry, but the cards just didn’t fall the right way.

At one point in your life, you’ll meet that someone you thought you’re meant to be with. Whether planned or by accident, there will be that one person you will truly love yet destiny’s force is pulling you apart. Until such time that you get tired and you stop trying.

You and your ‘the one that got away’ have unspoken commitments to each other. You’re afraid to talk about things that’s happening between the 2 of you because it feels too right to stop just like that. You understand each other more than anyone ever could. You have high hopes that no matter what happens, you will find yourself running to each other after you’re done sharing yourself to the world. Is it, really?

Walking away from something great is always painful.

My New Companion
